The 2016 Southern Illinois University volleyball season began Tuesday with the Salukis opening training camp in preparation of their 58th season.
Southern returns five starters and 11 letterwinners from last year's squad that went 20-13 and made the program's first-ever NCAA Tournament appearance. The Salukis have since added five freshmen and one transfer to the mix, with several vying for playing time ahead of SIU's season opener against Western Michigan on Aug. 26.
Season tickets are on sale now at the Saluki ticket office. Full season tickets start at only $40 and can be purchased by calling 877-SALUKIS.
