
Softball to play final games of fall season

CARBONDALE, ILL. – The Saluki softball team will take to the field for the final time in 2016 this Saturday, as they play host in a round robin. Southern Illinois University is welcoming Rend Lake College and Saint Louis University for the three game affair.
It will be exactly one week since SIU's last game. This past weekend the squad went 1-1, moving their overall record this fall season to, 5-1.
The first matchup will feature the two visiting teams, and that will begin at 12 p.m. SIU will play in the next two games, first against Rend Lake at 2 p.m. and then against SLU at 4 p.m.
