Kristie Yang will miss the Lamar Challenge with an injured back

Saluki women's golf head coach Alexis Mihelich will shake up the team lineup on its spring break road trip due to injuries.

Senior Kristie Yang withdrew during the final round of the Bradley Spring Break Invitational due to a back injury, and she will be replaced this weekend at the Lamar Challenge by freshman Erica Kerr. Kerr will make her debut as a member of the five-person travel team. She played in the MVC Preview in the fall as individual and scored in the 70s twice in three rounds during her collegiate debut to finish in the top half of the field.

The Salukis have been beset by injuries this season. Senior Xianmei Jin missed the majority of the fall season with a dislocated shoulder. Sophomore Sun Jung, who has travelled with the team this spring as an individual, is dealing with plantar fasciitis and knee tendinitis. She did not travel with the team to Texas.
