The Salukis are back on the road. After a six-match home streak, the team travels to Iowa City to face the Hawkeyes at 6 p.m. on Friday.
Dating back to 1960, the teams have matched up 14 times, and the Salukis and Hawkeyes are tied in the all-time series 7-7.
Graduate Assistant and Coach Jonny Rigby said there is momentum going into Fridays match. Piotr Baranski, Wilder Pimentel, Michal Kianicka and Param Pun went undefeated over the past two weekends.
"The victories last weekend made it seven in a row for the team. The guys are on a high at the minute and feeling really good about the season," Rigby said.
The Salukis have won seven-straight matches and are 7-1 this spring. Iowa is 6-3 for the season.
"Obviously, when you play a team like Iowa, you're going in as underdogs," Rigby said. "But whenever you win seven in a row, you're going be confident."
