Eason named MVC Track Athlete of the Week

ST. LOUIS - Sophomore sprinter Tyjuana Eason has been named the Missouri Valley Conference Women's Track Athlete of the Week, the Valley announced Tuesday.
Eason ran the fastest 200m in the Missouri Valley Conference this season at the Ole Miss Classic on May 6. Eason took second with a time of 23.70, which is also the second-fastest time in program history, and currently ranks 59th in the NCAA West Region.
The Salukis return to action this weekend at the 2017 MVC Outdoor Championships, hosted by Wichita State, beginning May 12.
