Salukis in 1st Place after Round One at Braun Intercollegiate

Southern Illinois finished round one of the Charles Braun Jr. Intercollegiate in first place. The Salukis (317) lead second-place Northern Kentucky (318) by 1-stroke.
The Salukis have three golfers in the top-20. Sophomore Erica Kerr (+5) led the Salukis on Monday, shooting a 77 and is tied for 2nd place overall. Junior Lili Klekner-Alt and sophomore Moyea Russell both carded 79 and are tied for 12th overall at 7-over-par.
Sophomore Emilyee McGiles (+10) shot 82 and is tied for 27th. Graduate Jackie Biggs (+15) carded 87 and is tied for 55th. Senior Sun Jung (+13) is competing as an individual and is tied for 49th place.Â
The Salukis tee off for the final round Tuesday at 10 a.m. from Oak Meadow Country Club in Evansville, Indiana. Live scoring will not be available.
