Volleyball signs Meredith Woolsey for 2019-20 season

CARBONDALE, Ill.- Southern Illinois University volleyball head coach Kari Thompson has announced the signing of middle blocker Meredith Woolsey of Fort Wayne, Ind. for the 2019-20 season.

Meredith Woolsey is a two-time all-conference selection who recently finished her senior season of volleyball at Snider High School in Fort Wayne, Ind. and was the recipient of Snider Volleyball's Mental Attitude award as a junior. A 6-foot-2 middle blocker, Woolsey played club ball for Empowered Volleyball Academy and has twice been named to the Junior Volleyball Association's Ultra Ankle Watch List.Â
