Women's Golf moves up one spot to fourth place on Day Two of Bama Beach Bash

The Southern Illinois women's golf team moved up one spot into fourth place on Saturday after firing a 303 team score during the second round of the Bama Beach Bash in Gulf Shores, Alabama.
The Salukis (312 303 - 615) beat their first-round score by nine strokes and trail third place West Florida (306 305 - 611) by just four strokes heading into Sunday's final round. South Alabama (286 286 - 572) leads the 10-team field by a wide margin.Â
SIU's Hanna Netisingha (+4) continued her solid play by carding a one-over par 73 today. She is tied for eighth place on the leaderboard. USF has two golfers — Siti Shaari (-4) and Julie Hovland (-2) — at the top of the standings. Also in the Top 20 for Southern is Moyea Russell (+10), who is tied for 16th place.
