Sophomore slump?
- Sophomore Katelyn Massa leads the team in RBI (40), home runs (7), doubles (11), slugging percentage (.574), walks (23) and total bases (70). She's struck out just 13 times in 122 at-bats, the fewest among all starters.

- Massa has been named the MVC Player of the Week twice this season. First on Feb. 19, after her performances at the Gamecock Invitational and again on March 19, after the Loyola series.
- This year sophomore Maddy Vermejan has already hit two home runs and earned 16 RBI. She leads the team in batting average (.363), runs scored (29), hit-by-pitches (19) and on-base percentage (.500).

- Fisher has already surpassed her 2017 RBI total with 17 as well as her 2017 home run total with 5. She is third on the team in home runs and fourth in RBIs.
Movin' on up...
- Sophomore first baseman Kyleigh Decker's play at the plate has warranted a move up in the Saluki lineup, and her numbers are moving up with her. Since April 8, she's hit .368 and hit safely in six of the last eight games and plated four of her 13 RBIs in that stretch. She has seen her average go up from .260 to .278 in that time period.
