Netisingha and Ho named to MVC Scholar-Athlete team

Saluki seniors Hanna Netisingha and Alice Ho concluded their final season with another award when the two golfers were named to the Missouri Valley Conference Scholar-Athlete team.Â
Â
Both golfers played in all 31 rounds this season and helped the Salukis to a third-place finish at the MVC Championships on April 15-17.Â
Â
Netisingha earned her second tournament win in her career this season at the Chi-Town Classic in October 2017, had four top-five finishes, and six top-10.  She is graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Zoology and will be pursuing Veterinarian school.Â

Ho finished her season with four top-five finishes, five top-10 and tied for fourth at the MVC Championships.  She is graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Human Nutrition and Dietetics.Â

To qualify for the MVC scholar-athlete team, nominees must have at least a 3.20 cumulative grade point average, reached sophomore athletic and academic standing at their institutions and participated in at least 50 percent of her team's rounds or played at the MVC Championship.
