Women’s Golf in eighth place after day one at Missouri State

Southern Illinois (+50) finished Day One of the Missouri State Payne Stewart Memorial in eighth place. Memphis and UTEP are tied for the lead at 11-over-par in the 15-team field. Murray State (+24) is currently in third place with Wichita State not far behind at 31-over-par.
Sophomore Moyea Russell (+9) is currently tied for 21st place. Junior Erica Kerr (+13) is tied for 41st place, while Sophomore Emilyee McGiles and Junior Lili Klekner-Alt are both tied for 51st at 15-over-par. Sophomore Rosemarie Bundy (+18) is tied for 60th place. Jackie Biggs (+9) is playing as an individual and is currently tied for 21st place.
Tomorrow the Salukis will tee off for the final round scheduled for 8:30 a.m. shotgun start.
