The Southern Illinois women's golf team are currently positioned in 11th place after round two at the Johnie Imes Invitational. Missouri remains in first place with a total of 579Â (+3), with Oral Roberts (+10) trailing in second by 7-strokes.
The Salukis have made their stride towards the top of the leaderboard, carding a total of 611, only 3-strokes out of the top-10 teams. Freshman Ayanna Habeel (+8) and senior Erica Kerr (+8) are leading the team both tied for 27th place. Junior Emilyee McGiles (+9) tied for 34th place, has a team high of 4 birdies. Moyea Russell (+10) had an amazing second round as she shot even par finishing with a total of 154. Freshman Megan Breslin had to withdraw due to an illness.
