Salukis Ready For Spring Season

Coming off a second-place finish at the Braun Intercollegiate to end the fall season, the Southern Illinois women's golf team is set to compete at the Battle at Boulder Creek in Las Vegas, Nev. The players traveling are sophomore Emilyee McGiles and Moyea Russell, juniors Erica Kerr and Lili Klekner-Alt, and graduate Jackie Biggs. Senior Sun Jung will be competing as an individual.
The six-team field will compete at the Boulder Creek Golf Club, a par-72 course spanning 6,252 yards. The course is designed and laid out through the natural rolling terrain with lush fairways and subtle elevation. The weather is forecast to be in the mid 50s with sunny conditions.
The teams tee off for round one on Monday at 7:15 a.m. PST. The final round will begin Tuesday at 7:15 a.m. PST. Live stats will be available via GolfStat.Â
