Salukis finish 3rd at Islanders Classic

The Southern Illinois women's golf finished third at the Islanders Classic in Corpus Christi, Texas. The Salukis (+51) shot rounds of 305, 303, and 315 in the final round to finish with a 54-hole total of 923 at Corpus Christi Country Club. Houston Baptist (+28) took home the tournament title with host Texas A&M- Corpus Christi (+51) finishing runner-up.
The Salukis had four golfers finish in the top-20. Emilyee McGiles (+14), Jackie Biggs (+14), and Erica Kerr (+14) all tied for 9th place overall to finish with a 54-hole total of 230. Lili Klekner-Alt (+21) shot 237 to finish tied for 20th. Moyea Russell (+23) carded 80 in the final round to finish 24th overall. Sun Jung (+42) competed as an individual and finished in 49th place.
