Saluki Baseball announces 2019 promotional schedule

CARBONDALE, Ill. - The Southern Illinois baseball program announced the 2019 promotional schedule today. The Salukis host 29 home games at Itchy Jones Stadium in 2019, starting on Friday against Western Illinois.
The program's popular annual Fish Fry is set for March 22, and auction items include more than 20 baseballs signed by MLB Hall of Famers; tickets to Cardinals, Cubs, and Blues games; and golf foursomes to Dalhousie Golf Club, Victoria National Gold Club, and TPC Southwind.Â
The program's alumni weekend is set for May 3-5 when the Salukis host Evansville. The Senior Day ceremony will take place prior to the regular season finale vs. Dallas Baptist on May 18.Â

The Salukis have two year-long promotions.Â
ALL PROMOTIONS
March 8 - Military Appreciation Day. All active duty military and veterans receive free admission
March 9 - Kids Club. A bounce house and kid zone will be set up on the concourse
March 22 - Field Trip Day. For your school to participate, contact Kevin Miller at kevinmiller2@siu.eduÂ
March 23 - Bark in the Park. Bring your dog to The Hill for a fun day at the ballpark on National Puppy Day
April 5 - Camper Reunion. Kids who attended Saluki Baseball camps in 2018 receive free admission
April 5-6 - SASF Appreciation
April 19 - Fraternity and Sorority Night. Greek Salukis can socialize on The Hill to start their Friday night
April 30 - Donate Life. Mid-America Transplant is partnering with SIU to celebrate National Donate Life month.Â
May 3 - Carbondale Chamber Cookout

- $2 Tuesday: Each Tuesday, tickets, hot dogs and small sodas are $2 each
- Sunday Funday: One concession item will be half-priced on Sundays. The item will be announced at each game
