Round Two of South Florida Invitational to finish in the Morning

TAMPA, Fla. – The South Florida Invitational started with a 35-minute delay due to fog on Monday. Round two was cut short at 7:30 p.m. due to darkness. The teams will resume the round on Tuesday at 8 a.m.

The Salukis were on hole 14 and in second place when the round was paused. The team ended round one, three above par and in fifth place. The team leads the tournament in birdies with a total of 35, 10 of them by senior Peyton Wilhoit.

Senior Luke Gannon (-1) finished round one tied for ninth place and is currently tied for fourth in round two. Senior Peyton Wilhoit (+1) finished round one tied for 19^th place and already has worked his way up 17 places to being tied for second place. The Salukis have four more holes left in round two.
