Salukis in 1st after Day One at Saluki Invitational

The Southern Illinois Women's Golf team finished the first day of the 2019 Saluki Invitational in first place. The Salukis (+11) carded 299 in the first round and are six-strokes ahead of Indiana State.
The Salukis, currently ranked 1st in the MVC Conference, had a strong showing. Erica Kerr leads the Salukis in 2nd place overall (-1). Jackie Biggs is tied for 3rd overall at 2-over-par. Moyea Russell (+3) carded a 75 and is in 5th overall. Lili Klekner-Alt is tied for 17th at seven-over-par. Emilyee McGiles (+9) shot 81 and is tied for 30th.
Rosemarie Bundy (+6) is playing as an individual and is tied for 14th overall. Sun Jung is tied for 22nd at eight-over-par. Grace Renfer (+12) is tied for 41st. Making her debut for Saluki Women's Golf, Abby Brockmeyer (+34) is tied for 85th.
