AROUND THE HORN
- Southern Illinois starts a five-game road swing with a 3 p.m. game on Tuesday at Eastern Illinois.

- Eastern Illinois is led by Jimmy Govern, who is hitting .333 with 10 doubles, seven homers and 28 RBIs. Govern is one of five Panthers who are hitting .330 or better this season.
