CARBONDALE, Ill. - Registration is now open for the Southern Illinois University women's soccer program's 2019 Elite ID Camp on Aug. 17-18. The camp is open to all high school soccer players who are looking for an opportunity to train in a collegiate environment while working closely with the Saluki coaching staff.
The two-day format is designed to give each athlete maximal recovery time between sessions in order to best showcase their abilities. Campers will also get a behind-the-scenes look at what it takes to be a collegiate soccer player, as they will be able to witness the first home match in program history when the Salukis host the SEMO Redhawks for their final exhibition tune-up on Aug. 17 at 7 p.m.Â
The Saluki soccer staff includes SIU head coach Grant Williams, assistant coach/goalkeepers coach Libby Stout and graduate assistant coach Nyomi Devine.
The cost to register is $85 per person. All training will be held at the Lew Hartzog Track and Field Complex. Campers are asked to please bring cleats, a soccer ball, shin guards and goalkeeper gloves (if applicable). Meals will not be provided.Â
If you have any questions or need any additional information please contact Libby Stout at elizabeth.stout@siu.edu or call (502)-287-7771. To register online, please click here.
