Saluki Cross Country Earns USTFCCCA All-Academic Award

CARBONDALE, Ill. – The Saluki men and women's cross country teams earned All-Academic team honors for the 2019 season, the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced today.
To be considered for the honor, teams must have competed at any of the NCAA Regional Cross Country meets and must hold a cumulative team GPA of 3.0 or higher. The Saluki women finished the year with a 3.57 GPA, while the men earned a 3.42 team GPA.
The Missouri Valley Conference finished with nine total women's team honors, in addition to seven men's team honors. Individually, Bradley's Jake Hoffert and Loyola's Kathleen Simms earned academic awards.
