
Women’s Basketball adds non-conference game at Mizzou

The Southern Illinois University women's basketball team has added a non-conference game at the University of Missouri for Sunday, Dec. 20 (12:30 p.m. tip-off) to its 2020-21 schedule.
The Salukis, who had an opening on their schedule after UT Martin was forced to cancel Tuesday's (Dec. 15) game. Southern hasn't played Mizzou since 2012 and it will serve as the 14th all-time meeting between the two programs. Missouri leads the all-time series, 8-5, with SIU's last victory in the series coming in 1987. It will also be the first time that head coach Cindy Stein returns to Mizzou after she spent 12 years at the helm of the Tigers, whom she led to seven postseason appearances.
