The Southern Illinois Women's Golf team will compete in their first tournament of 2020 on February 10th at the Battle at the Rock in Riverside, California. This will mark their first appearance in the tournament in program history. Throughout three rounds, the 17-field teams will take a swing at the Oak Quarry Golf Club, a 72-Par course that extends 6,093 yards.

The team is scheduled to tee off Monday and Tuesday's at 7:30 a.m., shotgun start. Emilyee McGiles, Erica Kerr, Ayanna Habeel, Rosemarie Bundy, and Lili Klekner-Alt will round out the roster for Southern Illinois.

Coming off a historic 2019 season, the Salukis have their 2020 vision set on defending their MVC title and hoisting the Missouri Valley Conference Championship trophy in back-to-back seasons.

In addition to the Battle at the Rock, the Salukis are scheduled to compete in a total of five tournaments this Spring: the Islander Classic (Feb. 24-25) in Corpus Christi, Texas, followed by the Hawkeye El Tigre Invitational in Mexico (Mar. 19-21). They then will head to Florida for the Babs Steffens Invitational (Mar. 29-30) and will host the Inaugural Diane Daugherty Invite, scheduled for April 6-7, in Saint Charles, Missouri.

The Salukis conclude their 2019-2020 season in Burlington, Iowa, looking to earn their ninth conference title at the MVC Conference Championship on April 19-21, 2020.
