CARBONDALE, Ill. -- The Southern Illinois Salukis battled the Sycamores of Indiana State inside Shea Natatorium Saturday afternoon. The Dawgs pulled out a 185-115 performance that included NCAA "B" cut performances by freshman Celia Pulido.

MEET HIGHLIGHTS

On the diving board, freshman Farida Moussa and senior Laura Mircea outshined the rest with first place titles on the one- (243.60) and three-meter (240.15) boards.

Senior Eden Girloanta came back in the distant 1000-freestyle event. The Israeli native clocked in at 10:19.76.

The relay squads pulled out first place performances in the 200-medley and 400-free to start and end the afternoon in Carbondale.

Mexico native Fernanda Sanchez, pulled out another two-first place title afternoon in the pool. Sanchez outswam in the 500-free (5:00.26) and 400-IM (4:27.38).

NEXT UP

SIU is back next Friday, where the Salukis will challenge Eastern Illinois in the pool for Senior Night at 4pm.
