The Southern Illinois men's golf team travels to New York for the 2022 Shark Invitational, hosted by Long Island University. The two-day tournament will be played at the Brookeville Country Club in Old Brookeville, New York. The 18 hole course was founded in 1922 and has hosted numerous events in its history.
The Salukis lineup will be senior Matthis Besard, senior Tom Cleaton, freshman Braden Hoisington, graduate Birgir Magnusson, and senior Markus Wilhelmsen.
36 holes will be played on Monday, followed by the final 18 on Tuesday. The weather forecast calls for mostly sunny skies, with highs in the 60s. Live scoring will be available on Golfstat.com.
