SIU Cross Country to Compete at John McNichols Invite

CARBONDALE, Ill. – The Saluki men's and women's cross country teams will travel to Terre Haute, Indiana to take part in the John McNichols Invite, hosted by Indiana State University on Saturday, September 17^th at 9:00 a.m. CT. SIU last competed on September 2^nd at the Redhawks XC Invitational, where the men's team placed first overall and the women's team placed third overall.

Both SIU teams will look to continue their strong start to their season. Twenty-two schools will compete at Terre Haute. Not including Southern Illinois, five Missouri Valley Conference teams will be represented (Belmont, Evansville, Illinois-Chicago, Indiana State, Missouri State). The Salukis will return to Indiana State in October for the Missouri Valley Conference Championships.
