CARBONDALE, Ill. - Southern Illinois basketball is set to close out a three-game homestand Tuesday night as Austin Peay comes to town. Tipoff from Banterra Center is set for 7 p.m.

Gipson spent one season at Northwestern State, leading the Demons to a 22-9 record and the program's first Top-25 win ever. The Govs have won two straight games with wins over Midway and Murray State -- both games in Clarksville. APSU is 4-1 at home, 0-4 on the road, and 1-1 in neutral-site games. Austin Peay is scoring at a 66.7 clip while allowing 63.6 points. The Govs are led by Demarcus Sharp with 19.1 points per game. Sharp also averages a team-high 7.7 rebounds.
