After a 9-for-14 week with 12 RBIs, a grand slam, three doubles, three walks, and three stolen bases through four games, Elizabeth Warwick was named the Missouri Valley Conference Player of the Week for the first time this season.Â

Warwick currently leads the MVC with a .400 batting average and 36 RBIs - tied for first with UNI's Mya Dodge.

Along with Warwick at the top of the MVC are teammates Emma Austin, Aubree DePron, Rylie Hamilton, and Jackie Lis who all rank in the top-8 of the MVC in batting average. Lis still leads the conference with12 home runs and 83 total bases.

The Salukis lead the all-time series over the Panthers at 79-44.

Northern Iowa has gotten the best of the Salukis recently however as they won all three games in 2022 as SIU has lost seven of the last 10 matchups.

With just one loss in the Valley, the Panthers are currently in first in the Valley with a 23-11 (12-1 MVC) record heading into the weekend.
