MVC announces 2023 Track and Field Scholar-Athlete Team

CARBONDALE, Ill. - The Missouri Valley Conference has announced its 2023 Track & Field Scholar-Athlete Team, with 10 Salukis being featured on the team.

Southern Illinois' Stephanie Anthonies, Claire Ayers, Josh Delgado, Travis Hart, Matisen Ingle, Brianna Nieset, Christine Nosike, Dyson Roye, Ethan Senti, and Cole Targgart were all named to the Scholar-Athlete Team.

In order to qualify, student-athletes must have had at least a 3.5 grade-point average, be at least a sophomore in academic standing, and placed inside the top eight of an individual event or top three in a relay event at the Indoor and/or Outdoor Championships.

Brianna Nieset - Architecture. 4.00 GPA.
Christine Nosike - Biological Sciences, Pre-Medicine. 3.77 GPA.
Dyson Roye - Mechanical Engineering. 3.62 GPA.
Ethan Senti - Architecture. 3.88 GPA.
Cole Targgart - Finance. 3.98 GPA.
