Preview | Men's Golf continues fall season at Everett Buick GMC Classic

CARBONDALE, Ill. - The Southern Illinois University men's golf team will head to Little Rock, Ark. to compete in the Everett Buick GMC Classic Monday, Oct. 14. The Salukis will compete against 14 teams in a two-day tournament and will play 36 holes Monday and 18 Tuesday.
The Salukis will send a five-man team to compete – Anthony De Schutter, Oliver Ulrich, Leon Heitz, Frank Bellino, and Carsen Silliman.
The Everett Buick GMC Classic is held at the Chenal Country Club. This course spans 7,115 yards and is a par-72 event. It was designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr. (Robert Trent Jones Jr. | Premier Golf Course Architect)
Southern Illinois will continue to fight after a tough start to the season. They are coming off the Badger Invitational where they finished 13th with a score of 903 (+39).
Anthony De Schutter will look to continue his strong opening campaign. At the Badger Invitational, he tied for 17th with a score of 217 (+1) after beginning with a round one and two score of 71 (-1).
