Recap | Salukis wrap up fall season in Hawaii

LAHAINA, Hawaii - Southern Illinois Men's Golf finished the 2024 fall season at the Ka'anapali Classic on Monday, finishing 20th out of 21 teams. They finished with a score of 855 (+3), 45 strokes behind the tournament champion Oklahoma.
Head coach Justin Fetcho gave his thoughts on the fall finale in Hawaii.
"The result is not what we wanted this week, but there were bright spots," Fetcho said. "We are still learning and growing each time out."
Anthony De Schutter led the way for the Salukis finishing T-42nd, with a score of 209 (-4) After getting a feel for the course in round one, he was able to put in a round two score of 69 (-2) and a round three score of 68 (-3).

UP NEXT
The Salukis will start the spring season on Monday, Feb. 10, when they head to Mobile, Ala. to compete in the Hal Williams Collegiate.

- Jan Wdowka (IND.): 93rd (+4, 217)
- Leon Heitz: T-99th (+5, 218)
- Oliver Ulrich: T-99th (+5, 218)
- Lucas Lasley: T-79th (+8, 221)
- Carsen Silliman led the Salukis in round one, shooting a 69 (-2)
- Jan Wdowka made his return to action and had a round one score of 70 (-1)
- Oliver Ulrich had an excellent round two score of 70 (-1), and a round three score of 71 (E).
