Preview | Track and Field heads to Chicago for the MVC Indoor Championship

CARBONDALE, Ill. – Southern Illinois Track and Field indoor season will culminate in Chicago at the MVC Indoor Championship on Sunday, March 1 at 9 a.m.
The Salukis will be competing in a competitive field of MVC Track and Field Programs. They have competed against Murray State and Missouri State in prior events but will meet with the rest of the MVC for the first time this year.
The MVC Championship is a two-day event, day one begins at 9 a.m. with the women's pentathlon, the men's heptathlon will start at 9:30 a.m., field events will begin at 2 p.m., and track events will start at 3:15 p.m.
Day two will start with the conclusion of the men's heptathlon at 9:30 a.m., field events start at 10:30 a.m., and the event will conclude with the track events beginning at 11:30 a.m.
