Preview | Track and Field hosts the 2025 MVC Outdoor Championship

CARBONDALE, Ill. – Southern Illinois Track and Field will host the 2025 MVC Outdoor Championship on Saturday, May 17 at the Lew Hartzog Track and Field Complex. In the Pre-Championship Poll, the men were picked to finish fourth, and the women were picked to finish eighth.

The Salukis will compete against all 12 men's teams and nine women's programs across all events on both days of the Championship.

The MVC Championship is a two-day event, day one begins at 8 a.m. with the men's 10K race, the men's decathlon will start at 9:30 a.m., the women's decathlon will begin at 10 a.m., and field events will begin at 10 p.m.

Day two will see the conclusion of the men's and women's combined events at 9 a.m., field events will start at 10:30 a.m., and the track events will close the show at 1:15.
