CARBONDALE, Ill. - Southern Illinois Women's Golf will continue its fall 2025 campaign at the Diane Thomason Invitational Monday, Sept. 29. The tournament is hosted by the University of Iowa at Finkbine Golf Course in Iowa City, Iowa. Teams are scheduled to play 36 holes Monday and 18 Tuesday.

SIU will bring five golfers: Ella Overstreet, Allie Santos, Kayla Sayyalinh, Calli Smith and Amelia Zingler.

Sayyalinh led the Salukis in the team's opening tournament, placing 24th while shooting 230 (+14).

The forecast predicts hot weather over the two days, with highs of 90 and 89 degrees, respectively. Winds will be calm, with speeds around 5 miles per hour.
