Salukis Ready for Outdoor Competition

The Salukis will travel to Murray State for their first outdoor competition of the season at the Margaret Simmons Invitational in Murray, Kentucky. The meet is scheduled for March 20–21.
Throwing events will begin at 10:30 a.m. Friday, followed by field events at 12:30 p.m. Running events are set to start at 4 p.m.
Competition will resume Saturday at 9:30 a.m. and is expected to conclude around 5 p.m.
The Salukis couldn't be more happy to began their outdoor season.Â
"As our outdoor campaign begins," Director Jones said, "We are excited to get outdoor and begin competing. We have recovered and reset from the indoor championships and season, so competing at Murray State this weekend will be a good early season test for us. It also helps that this weekend has favorable weather for us to try and compete well so we look forward to these opportunities."
