Outdoor: Scored at his first MVC Outdoor Championship, as he finished eighth in the shot put with a mark of 54’-11.5” (16.75m)…Also took 12th in the discus with a personal-best mark of 151’-8” (46.22m) at the 2017 MVC Outdoor Championships (5/14)…Set a personal-best in the shot put with a mark of 55’-1” (16.79m) at the Lenny Lyles Invitational (4/29)…Finished fourth in the shot put at the Bill Cornell Spring Classic (3/25)…Competed at eight outdoor meets.
Indoor: Did not record a legal mark in the shot put at the MVC Indoor Championships (2/25)…Set a indoor PR in the shot put at the EIU Friday Night Special (2/17) as he threw 54’-1” (16.48m) to finish sixth…Took third in the shot put at the Saluki Fast Start (12/10)…Threw the weight and shot at the Illini Classic (1/14), placing seventh in the shot and 17th in the weight…Competed at eight indoor meets.
