PRIOR TO SIU
Hailing from Guanajuato, Mexico, Sanchez brings extensive national team experience with her to the Salukis. In 2017, she won the 15-16 division of the 400 free at the North American Challenge Cup. Two years later, she took home multiple medals at the Olimpiada Nacional and in doing so, qualified in the 1500 free for the World Youth Championships in Budapest, Hungary. She went on to place 22nd in the event. She later represented Mexico at the 2020 UANA Swimming Cup in six events and finished as high as fifth in the 400 free.
