Swam in four events… Set a new personal record in the 50-yard breaststroke (29.14) qualifying for National Invitational Championship (NICB)… qualified for National Invitational Championship (NICB) in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:01.96), and 200-yard breaststroke (2:14.64) at the MVC Championship.

2021-2022 (SOPHOMORE)

Swam in four events in three meets... sole first-place marks in the 200-breast... eight top-eight marks throughout the season.

2020-2021 (FRESHMAN)

2021 MVC Freshman of the Year... All-MVC First Team... CSCAA Scholar-Athlete... top Saluki times in 100- and 200-breast... competed in seven events all season... owns the SIU record in the 100-breast (1:01.15), 200-breast (2:12.96), and a member of the 200-medley relay (1:41.06)... garnered first place in 100- and 200-breast, and 200-IM at MVC Championships... swam solely first place finishes in 100- and 200-breast all season... 19 top-five marks.

PRIOR TO SIU

Zaborska arrives in Carbondale from Martin, Slovakia, where she gained valuable experience as part of Slovakia's national team. She burst on to the national scene in 2015 at the Winter Slovak Championships when she broke the U14 national record in the 200-meter breaststroke with a time of 2:33.25. Two years later, she was named the Slovakian junior female swimmer of the year after she tallied a pair of top-five finishes in the 50 and 200 breast at the FINA Swimming World Cup. In 2018, Zaborska represented Slovakia at the 2018 Summer Youth Olympics in Buenos Aires, Argentina and later took fourth in the 200 breast at the FINA Swimming World Cup.
