Samantha Sambursky enters her fourth year as the assistant coach following four seasons as a member of the team.
Sambursky, formerly Sutzer, played a total of 89 rounds for the Salukis during her career, posting a career-low round of 72. She was also part of the 2007 MVC Championship team.
The Springfield, Ill., native married former Saluki standout quarterback Joel Sambursky in January 2008. They have one daughter, Lane, born in October 2009. Sambursky received her degree in sport management from SIU in 2010.
