Coleson Gordon joined the Salukis as an athletic trainer in the summer of 2021. He came to Carbondale after previously working with the Duke men’s soccer and women’s tennis teams.
He holds certifications in CPR, First Aid, AED, and BOC. He is also certified in sound assisted soft tissue mobilization (SASTM), along with Structure and Function dry needling. Gordon is licensed in the state of Illinois and has been a NATA member since 2019.
Gordon is a CPR instructor for Emergency Care and Safety Institute, and is certified in Soccer Injury Prevention and Return to Play from the International Soccer Science and Performance Federation.
A native of Indiana, Gordon earned his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Bethel College in May of 2017. He went on to earn his Master of Science in Athletic Training from High Point University in 2021.
