SIU Women's Tennis Wins Three Titles at Evansville Invitational

Evansville, Ind. - Erika Ochoa, Tana Trapani and the tandem of Trapani and Alejandra Blanco each combined for three titles as the Southern Illinois University women's tennis team dominated the Evansville Invitational Friday-Saturday, Sept. 28-29.
Ochoa went 4-0 en route to taking the Flight A singles crown, while Trapani also posted a 4-0 mark to win Flight B singles. Trapani then teamed up with teammate Blanco to win Flight A doubles.
SIU will continue its fall season Oct. 5-7 when the Salukis head to Springfield, Mo., to compete in the MVC Individual Fall Championships.
