Women's Golf Announces Signee

Carbondale, Ill. - Southern Illinois University's women's golf team announced this weekend that it has signed Abby Johnson to a national letter of intent. Johnson hails from Wisconsin Rapids, Wis.
Johnson joins the Salukis after an impressive prep career at Lincoln High School where she was named Golf Foundation Player of the Year as a senior. Also during that year, Johnson won all but one tournament she participated in en route to posting a fourth place finish at state. In addition, she helped lead her team to a state championship in the program's second year as a junior.
