Carbondale, Ill. - The women's tennis team will close out the fall season by heading to the University of Memphis Tournament. The two day event will include Arkansas-Little Rock, Murray State, Tennessee Tech, St. Louis, Ball State, Austin Peay and host Memphis.
After showing its strength and resurgence with four top-five finishes at the Missouri Valley Conference Individual Championships, the women's tennis team hopes to end the season on a high note.
"I feel very positive about this tournament," said head coach Judy Auld. "We've had a break that enabled us to catch a second wind. I just hope to get a lot of good matches and hopefully bring home some high finishes."
Women's tennis will begin the spring season in January against Western Michigan.
