Women's Tennis Drops Second Straight In Florida

Miami, Fla. - The Southern Illinois women's tennis team lost its second match in as many days Tuesday afternoon as it fell to Florida International, 7-0. The non-conference loss comes less than twenty-four hours after the Salukis dropped their contest against #72 Florida Atlantic.
The Golden Panthers, recently ranked as high as #64, were able to defeat the Salukis in each singles and doubles pairing, improving their overall record to 4-9. SIU drops to 2-6 on the year as they head into Thursday's bout with Syracuse at 12pm (ET) in Boca Raton, Florida.
