Des Moines, Iowa - Drake University would end the Salukis three match winning streak on Saturday as the Bulldogs slipped by SIU, 4-3, on Saturday. The women's tennis team fell to 5-11 overall, 2-1 in the MVC.
The Bulldogs ended SIU's hope of going undefeated in conference play taking 4 of 6 singles matches and sweeping the crucial doubles point, which was the difference in the match. The Nos. 2 and 3 doubles matches were won by a score of 9-8 over the Salukis. DU improves to 3-1 in the conference.
