Women's Tennis Head To Play in Memphis Invitational

CARBONDALE, IL. - After coming away with twelve wins last weekend at the Saluki Classic, the Dawgs hope to keep the ball rolling in the right direction as they head to Memphis, Tenn. to play in the Memphis Invitational on Oct. 15-16.
Junior Maria Blanco has led the Salukis this fall, as she has notched a 6-1 record at the No. 1 singles spot. Also posting impressive individual records for the Dawgs are freshmen Joana Hornestam, Amanda Taillefer, and Laura Bredniak. All three have winning records on the fall, as Hornestram is 6-2, while Taillefer and Bredniak have posted 5-2 records.
