Women's Tennis To Wrap Up MVC Individual Championships

SPIRNGFIELD, MO. - In day two of the Missouri Valley Conference the Salukis dropped some very close matches, as they went winless in singles competion.
Junior Zuzana Palovic was defeated in her No. 3 singles quarter-final match up against Teri Chan of Bradley 7-5, 6-1. Also lossing a hard fought quarter-final match was freshmen Joana Hornestram as she was defeated 6-4, 6-1 by Genevieve Spink of Wichtia State.
Palovic will play for third place in No. 3 singles tomorrow as she will take on Carolyne Parent of Illinois State, as Hornestram will take on Wilikie of Drake for third place in No. 4 singles.
