Tsala Mvilongo named MVC Player of the Week

ST. LOUIS -The Missouri Valley Conference named Southern Illinois junior Sabine Tsala Mvilongo women's tennis Player of the Week on Tuesday afternoon.
Tsala Mvilongo received the honor following an impressive week of play during the Salukis' Spring Break road trip. The Aulnay, France native went 3-0 in singles and 3-0 in doubles, helping SIU improve its season record to 5-4.
This is the first time Tsala Mvilongo has earned this honor and the first time a Saluki has been chosen since April 1, 2003.
