Salukis Begin Three Match Home Stand Today Against Bradley

CARBONDALE, Ill. - The Southern Illinois women's tennis team will host three Missouri Valley Conference opponents this weekend when Bradley, Indiana State and Illinois State travel to Carbondale.
The Salukis (9-4, 1-0 MVC) will host Bradley (5-11, 0-2 MVC) today at 3 p.m. on the University Courts at SIU. The Braves are led in singles by Teri Chan with a 16-11 record and by Erin Krubeck and Emily Regenold in doubles with a 11-10 record.
SIU will host Indiana State (8-7, 1-2 MVC) at 2 p.m. on Saturday. The Sycamores are led in singles by Jennifer Migan with a 13-2 record and in doubles by Migan and Joanne Schickerling with an 8-5 record.
The Salukis will close their conference weekend on Sunday when they host Illinois State (8-6, 3-0 MVC) at 1 p.m. The Redbirds are led by Carolyne Parent in singles with a 17-6 record and by Veroni Parke-Bedard and Katri Miller in doubles with a 13-5 record.
"We look forward to competing this weekend," said head coach Rene Vidal. "Each match presents an opportunity for us to improve individually and excel as a team. It will be a great experience and opportunity for our program."
