Ruszkowski named Sun Belt Diver of the Week

NEW ORLEANS, La. - Freshman Justin Ruszkowski was named Sun Belt Diver of the Week, grabbing the first weekly honors of the season for the Saluki swimming and diving team.

Ruszkowski propelled the Salukis to a 166-133 victory in their home opener against Sun Belt Conference competitior New Orleans last week, capturing the top spot in both the 1-meter and 3-meter dives. Ruskowski recorded a score of 307.50 in the 3-meter dive and a score of 295.65 in the 1-meter. This marked Ruszkowski's first competition with the Salukis.

The men's swimming and diving team will continue action this weekend as they host Missouri on Friday at 5 p.m. at the Rec Center pool.
