Cincinnati, Ohio - The SIU women's tennis team lost a close match on Saturday to the University of Cincinnati, 4-3.
The Salukis started the match by winning the doubles point but couldn't pull it off in singles.
Head coach Audra Nothwehr said she was happy with the performances for the day.
"I'm proud of how we played for being pretty banged up and we didn't give up," Nothwehr said. "Although we lost it felt more like a win."
